Felix QUINN 1820 Ship Yard Labourer - Stone Mason
Felix Quinn was born in 1820 in IRELAND. He was married to Ellen QUINN (maiden name unknown) born in 1830 in IRELAND. Felix and Ellen Quinn came from Ireland after 1846 during the potato famine. Any information on where they may have come from in Ireland would be very much appreciated. They had 4 known children as follows:-
During 1841 the Quinn's lived in Muirkirk Ayr Scotland By 1861 they had moved onto NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE where they were living in the parish of All Saints Wall Knoll In 1871 they lived at:- Blue Quarries in GATESHEAD Felix and Ellen emigrated to the U.S.A. Some time after 1871 Felix and Ellen were living in Princeton Mercer New Jersey in 1880 Their Grand daughter below Catherine Quinn born 1879 in Pendleton Salford went out to live with them. Catherine was there during 1942 and as far as we know married and remained there. Family legend has it that Felix Quinn lived to be 102 years old. Any information on these Quinn's would be greatly appreciated. The name was originally spelt QUIN but sometime after moving to England it was spelt QUINN

Michael Quinn was married to born 1858 in MANCHESTER The marriage took place in 1877 at ALL SAINTS CATHOLIC CHURCH BARTON UPON IRWELL at the time of the marriage Elizabeth Ann Smith lived in James Street Eccles Michael Quinn lived in Brunswick Street Pendleton They had the following children
From 1881 to 1901 the family lived in Nuttall Street Salford
