Short mat bowls is enjoyed by people of all ages both for it's competitive and it's social aspect.
sets of bowls are available at the Victory Hall so all a beginner would need is a decent pair of flat soled shoes.
As well as the weekly bowling sessions, friendly matches with other bowling clubs are occasionally arranged at the Victory Hall.
There are four clubs playing on Wednesday morning, Thursday morning, Thursday afternoon and evening.
