I have a Davis Vantage Pro 2 weather station, giving the current weather here in Osmondthorpe Leeds West Yorkshire. The results are accurate but it's just a hobby, so don't rely on them too much. The Current Weather link on the left takes you to an overall view of the station updated every 10 minutes. The Weather Underground link on the left will take you to my station. Where you can look at the current weather or look up what it was like this day up to three years ago information is updated every 10 minutes so you can see the changes live. I am now receiving live pictures from the NOAA polar orbiting weather satellites. Have a look and see the weather systems from mid Atlantic to mid Europe. My webcam is now on the wunderground site so have a look for the wildlife in my garden, on a bad day you may even see me.
About this site..............
Although mainly weather oriented I have other interests which are to be included in the site. The R.N.L.I. , Whitby lifeboat. Whitby's old lifeboat Mary Ann Hepworth is of special interest to me. Pyrotechnics (or fireworks to us) have played a big part in my life, I can trace my familys' involvement in fireworks back to 1865.

Leeds is my hometown but my interests have taken me far and wide. I hope as this site progresses. You will find something of interest either in my pages or in the links on the menu bar to the left. Smudger the trainee guide dog leaves to go on with stage two of his training, Lewis has arrived to take Smudger's place watch my photos for some pictures.
