House groups

These are central to the life of our church. We encourage everybody to join one. They provide a place where people can be known and know others really well, to offer mutual support. They will normally include fellowship, bible study, prayer and a social element. They meet fortnightly (except over the summer and at Christmas and Easter).

 

We also run frequent “Christian Basics” and “Exploring the Bible” courses.

 

Tea at 2

- Kirkheaton church is open every Thursday afternoon from 2.00 – 4.00. Come and have a look round and enjoy a drink and a home-made cake.

 

Mothers Union

- Kirkheaton MU meets monthly on 2nd Wednesday, 2 p.m. usually in the Parish Centre. You don't have to be a mother - or even female - to be a member.

 

Men’s Breakfast and Early Birds

- topical discussion over a hearty breakfast.

 

 Ladies Night

meet monthly (except January and February) on the 2nd Thursday at 7.15pm in the Kirkheaton Parish Centre, with a variety of interesting speakers.

 

Lunch Club

- monthly lunch for older people in the Old School, Kirkheaton

 

Social Evenings

Events with the emphasis on food and fun. Recent ones have included a quiz night and car rally – and of course there’s the renowned family Bonfire Night
