The pattern of services  at Kirkheaton from 4^th January, will be:

1st Sunday                    

8:00 am           Communion (Book of Common Prayer)

9:30 am           Communion (Common Worship)

11:00 am       Informal Worship (usually HC)

6:00 pm           Teaching/Reflective and ‘Compline’

 

2nd Sunday

9:30 am           Morning Prayer (Common Worship)  

11:30 am       Informal Worship

6:00 pm           Prayer and Communion

 

3rd Sunday

9;30 am           Communion (Common Worship)

11:00 am       Family Service (sometimes HC)

6:00 pm           Teaching and discussion

 

4th Sunday

9:30 am           Morning Prayer (Common Worship)

11:00 am       Informal Worship (Usually HC)

6:00 pm           Café Church

 

Baptisms take place in the months where there is a

5th Sunday at 11:00 am

NB - There will be a number of services during the year when we will all be together. These will include Mothering Sunday, Easter, Harvest, Holiday Club, Remembrance and Christmas Day.

These will take place at 10.30 am.

St Bartholomew’s

On Sundays at 9.30 am we have a service following the Church of England patterns (Common Worship). This will include a sermon, structured prayers and both traditional and more modern hymns.  At 11 am we have a more informal time, with space for prayer, contemporary music led by a music group, talks and time to listen to people’s stories.  Between the two there will be coffee and biscuits. Children have their own pattern of worship and teaching, at 11 am. We have a monthly child-friendly Family Service at 11 am on the 3^rd Sunday of the month.

At 6 pm we have a more reflective time with opportunity for prayer and exploring the Bible.

On special occasions (such as Christmas and Easter, Mothering Sunday and Harvest) details may change so please do check our monthly Diary.

We also have a service on the 2^nd Tuesday of every month at 10.30 am, followed by refreshments, and a Book of Common Prayer Communion on the 1^st  Sunday at 8am. The church is open daily for prayer, Monday – Friday, 8 - 8.30 am.

 

Grange Moor

There is a service every Sunday at 10.30 am we have a service following the Church of England patterns (Common Worship). On the 1^st Sunday every month there is a child-friendly Family service. On other Sundays the children have their own story time during the sermon.
