The Parish of Kirkheaton, Dalton
& Grange Moor

The pastoral team are usually notified by Richard, Linda in the office or members of the congregation as to who needs a visit or who would like a visit. It is important that members of the congregation let the pastoral team know, when someone is ill, in hospital or in need of support in any situation.

Julie, Steve and Jan coordinate a team of people who aim to make sure that no-one who has a pastoral need (such as bereavement, illness, loneliness) goes without the right kind of support from members of the Church. This may be a one-off visit or more regular visits; it may mean finding more professional support or putting them in contact with other organisations. If you think we can be of help to you, or someone you know who would appreciate having support from the Church, please get in contact by e-mail or by telephoning the Parish Office (tel. 531449)."
