St Bartholomew’s

At St John’s, Kirkheaton, worship has long been evangelical, and sometimes very informal by Anglican standards. We use a mixture of traditional, contemporary and alternative approaches in word, music, drama, and movement, and contemplative / meditative styles.

We welcome you whole-heartedly to join us at any of our services or other groups, and we hope that you find the information on our web site useful and informative.

St Bartholomew’s at Grange Moor has a more traditional approach to its worship, but the congregation has been open to and welcomed the occasional more contemporary approach.

We have two churches – St John The Baptist, situated about ¾ mile from Kirkheaton village centre, and St Bartholomew’s, situated in the centre of Grange Moor, some 3 miles from Kirkheaton.
