Browser must have Java enabled and be running Java 1.2 or later (because the BufferedImage class is required). The applet works with Opera 7 and Netscape 7. Microsoft IE5 has only Java1.1 installed as default though plugins to upgrade are available. If you have the Java SDK then appletviewer can be used.
