The musical tastes of the UberGoth Vary according to location to location on the planet. On the whole they will be MOVED by the music of Sisters Of Mercy, NIN and Bauhaus, we are aware that their are 1000's of other Uber-feeding bands out their like Danielle Dax, Susperia and Inkubus Sukkubus, but for now we shall concentrate of the main two.

Sisters Of Mercy:

This is a gothic band that was rather big in the 1980's and is still touring around at the moment. When an Uberite is dancing to ANY tracks from S.O.M they will tend to walk 'very slowly' backwards and forwards with their arms doing bizarre gerstures in time to the music, there feet will be subjected to their stare for a couple of minutes This is a good time to steal their beer if in a club, or write I LIKE PINK on their coats in lipstick - after a short while of feet staring and arm flaying they will suddenly look at the ceiler of the building and bring their arms closer to their bodies (imagine a butterfly emerging from a cocoon in reverse). These monovers will continue for the duration of the track and then they will finish by letting their hair drape over the face.

An important fact that we should take into account is that ALL true ubergoths believe that the music is written for them, the words seem to echo their lives like a mirror of shadowed desperation.

The more depressive the music the better really, they are only happy when they are depressed seems to be the case (good luck spotting the difference).

I know it is a paradox and not good sense to get more depressed when your already depressed, but it inspires them to think up new and uninteresting theories of life and death.

NIN Nine Inch Nails:

These are a little more animated than the previous dance steps. Because the music is more powerful they will have to loose the fluidic movement that they had nurtured and start making more agressive moves, the basics of arm and ceiling to floor exitment will still be visable, but they will now also hop backwards and forwards.
