Zena's Mini

My brother in-law, bought this car after it had been in a road accident - it had rolled.

He did the body repairs, then jazzed it up by fitting fatter tyres  and fancy stripes on the sides and finished it off by fixing flappers behind the wheels and wheel arches over the wheels

I, then bought the car for £400

It moved like lighting, at first I thought I would be done for speeding!

One day I was at a set of lights, when this big car pulled up in next lane his engine roaring away; when the lights changed to green, I move away and  was up the road looking back in my rear view mirror at him just pulling away from the lights

I have many fond memories of that mini and was sad to parted company with it.
