April/May Prayer Diary

Monday 14th Pray for the Leadership Team Meeting tonight. Ask for God's guidance.
Tuesday 15th Pray for Gordon, Julie and Emma, for God's love and healing.
Wednesday 16th Pray for our Local Preachers, and Margaret Tighe their secretary, as they meet tonight.
Thursday 17th Pray for all care workers, including those who care at home for their loves ones. Name any you know, including Neil, Jill's husband.
Friday 18th Pray for Dave Presson and Trich his wife.
Saturday 19th Ask God to tell you how much to give this weekend for Gift Day.
Sunday 20th Church Anniversary. Thank God for the wonderful buildings in which we worship. Pray for Colin Barrick as he leads worship this morning.
Monday 21st Pray for those who are housebound, or unable to go out alone. Remember Beth.
Tuesday 22nd Pray for Gillian and Eric as they work in our circuit.
Wednesday 23rd Pray for the church at St Michael's and Malcolm their minister.
Thursday 24th Pray for the work of N.S.P.C.C. as they help children in need.
Friday 25th Trailblazers. Pray for Alison and her team, asking God to bless the children who come.
Saturday 26th Thank God for those who work for the Methodist Missionary Society, remembering especially those in overseas situations such as Zimbabwe.
Sunday 27th Pray for good attendance at the Circuit Service at our church today, when Easter Offerings will be received.
Monday 28th This week leaflets will be dropped asking for people to tell us if they want prayer. Pray for those who do this.
Tuesday 29th Pray for those who promote the Smiles charity, and those who work in Romania helping. Wednesday 30th Pray for Alan and Jean as they work in our circuit and church.
Thursday, 1st May Pray for our circuit stewards, Graham Cutts, Sarah Mount and Roy Jennings.
Friday 2nd Pray for the Congregational Church and their leaders.
Saturday 3rd Pray for Christians in China being put into jail to keep them away from the Olympic Games venues.
Sunday 4th Pray for all who holiday this month, that they may return refreshed and strengthened.
Monday 5th Pray for those who will go to homes this week asking if they need prayer, not an easy task. Ask God to guide them in what to say.
Tuesday 6th Pray for farmers and market gardeners caring for important crops.
Wednesday 7th Pray for the church at Bolsover as they pray tonight for other circuit churches.
Thursday 8th Pray for all worship leaders and readers. Remember Jean, Maureen and Alison.
Friday 9th Pray for all who live on the Peterdale Estate, remembering by name those you know.
Saturday 10th Pray for the work of UNESCO, caring worldwide for children.
Saturday 11th Pentecost. Thank God for the coming of the Holy Spirit, especially into your life.
Monday 12th Pray for doctors and nurses, remember Margaret and Phil, and your own surgery staff or hospital staff.
Tuesday 13th Pray for others who work in hospital today whatever their job.
Wednesday 14th Pray for Geoff and Jean as they work in the circuit and our church.
Thursday 15th Pray for those who work in refuse collection and recycling.
Friday 16th Pray for Julie and helpers with last minute preparations for Sunday Club Celebrations.
Saturday 17th Church Day Out Pray for good fun, fellowship and weather, and safe driving. Sunday 18th Sunday Club Celebration Day. Thank God for our Young People. Ask Him to help you encourage them as they grow. |
