Prayer Diary for September Let your light shine before others Matthew 5:16
Monday 7th Ask God to bless all who live on Foljambe Road. Name those you know.
Tuesday 8th Pray for Christians suffering for their faith. Help them to feel God's love close to them.
Wednesday 9th Thank you to Jean for the excellent job she does printing the Notices each week, and the Prayer Diary each month, and other jobs she undertakes. May God bless her and keep her energetic and well.
Thursday 10th Ask God to bless our Ministers - Linda, Gordon, Colin, Geoff and Alan. Help them to feel appreciated for the work they do in our circuit.
Friday 11th Pray for the Mother and Toddler Group, for Joan and all who help her, that they will continue to give the children a lovely time in a Christian setting.
Saturday 12th Thank God for Milly, Glenys, Terry and Tony, and all who organise and deliver the flowers to people's homes after the evening services. Thank God that the flowers are really appreciated.
Sunday 13th Pray for all who worship at Barrow Hill Church. May God guide and help those who work for this Church.
Monday 14th Thank God for those responsible for producing the magazine - Alan, Jean and Elizabeth - for the excellent job they do assembling all the information people contribute, and to those who distribute the magazine
Tuesday 15th Ask God to bless Dave our Lay Worker and Trish his wife.
Wednesday 16th Pray for all who are suffering from incurable illnesses that they will be looked after well and be pain free.
Thursday 17th Thank God for our friends and the good times we have with them.
Friday 18th Ask God to bless all who live on John Street. Name those you know.
Saturday 19th "Lord, help me to find the joy of following your plan for my life."
Sunday 20th Compassion Sunday. Help more and more children be sponsored through Compassion releasing them from poverty.
Monday 21st Church Family Committee. Help good ideas and decisions be made. Bless those who attend this meeting.
Tuesday 22nd Help us to live our lives by God's standards, so that others will see God in our lives.
Wednesday 23rd Thank God for all the people who unlock and lock up our Church for different reasons on a regular basis.
Thursday 24th Ask God to be with all those suffering violence and abuse, that they will come to know people who will show them God's love.
Friday 25th Pray for the unemployed and those seeking work, and having interviews for jobs.
Saturday 26th Ask God to bless those who are planning the arrangements for our Harvest Festival Celebrations.
Sunday 27th Pray for all who worship at the Congregational Church. Ask God to bless them in the work they do in the Church.
Monday 28th Leadership Team Meeting. Ask God to bless those attending this meeting. May God's will be done.
Tuesday 29th Ask God to bless all who live on Heywood Street. Name those you know.
Wednesday 30th Thank God for the Flying Doctor Services, and MAF (Mission Aviation Fellowship), for the skills they have in the important work they do. Ask God to keep them safe.
Thursday 1st October Pray for the people responsible for making our Church look beautiful with flowers and harvest produce. Ask God to bless them as they serve Him.
Friday 2nd Paul Field in concert. We pray that our Church will be full and that God will speak through Paul Field's music and singing, and change lives.
Saturday 3rd Ask God to bless Danny and Sandra, and others who spend their lives living where God has placed them, helping others less fortunate than themselves.
Sunday 4th Harvest Festival Celebrations. May we have a time of celebration and praise as we thank God for the never ending way cares He for us. |
