Jemimah wakes up in a scruffy room.

He doesn’t know where or who he is.

A scratchy sound comes from a crack in the wall.

The skushing thing jumps out!

It freezes in mid air and vanishes.

In the crack Jemimah sees a projector. (The skushing thing is either projected from or consumed by the projector in some way?)

The projector makes Jemimah think that someone called Foam is around.

He puts on his hat and walks into the crack. The as-yet-unseen giant answers from the mist that Foam died 53 years ago. (There appears to be green mist in the crack, or is it literally “foam”?)

Then he sees the giant in stilettos.

who has hairy legs

He recognises Tallulah’s shoe and jumps to the conclusion that this giant killed Taallulah (his brother)!

Jemimah knocks the giant out and “drags him”. (Maybe he drags him from the crack back into the main room. Maybe it’s a metaphorical dragging of out answers.)

(The narration in the previous squares is revealed as Jemimah in the future relaying his tale to a mystery character. The speech bubble here is a continuation of the surrounding story.) Jemimah tickled the giant for months, before getting answers.

The giant caves to the tickling and tells Jemimah that he was frozen and when.

Jemimah drops his hat in shock (he doesn’t vanish).

(Stop what?)

Then he notices that the giant has distinctive Foam projection tattoos.

He realises that this is an upgraded Tallulah.

Tallulah takes Jemimah out of the room in which they have been so far

...down the corridor

...and into another room.

(Again we see Jemimah in the future telling his tale. His speech is continuous with the surrounding squares.)

The second room contains smelly sacks!

A sack splits open. (The cat is in his own mini-square. He is in the future and reacting to Jemimah’s telling of the gruesome tale)

(Are these mistakes in the Foam Projection upgrade process like the one Talullah has undergone?)

Tallulah takes Jemimah to the window and shows him the ruined city.

the mutant from the sack has imerged behind them

Jemimah and Tallulah turn round from the window to see it.

The mutant recognises brothers, and only when he speaks do they recognise him as their other brother delilah. Tallulah concludes that these experiments are the work of foam!

Delilah looks out of the window too, but sees only his hideous reflection.

Agent-13-Smoog enters the room and turns off the lights.

Elsewhere, another figure is defrosting. He has planned for the brothers to defrost, but he doesn’t know where agent-13-smoog is. (Is this the mysterious Foam?)

Back in the room Agent-13-Smoog shows the 3 brothers a film of themselves before the freezing and upgrading.

...and explains.

This makes Jemimah think about stuff, and here he is in the future saying so.

Then a stomping figure comes to the room.

Agent-13-Smoog seems to think that this figure is a threat and they all hide.

Jemimah melts his face with the Foam Destroyer spray.

It turns out he is just the first of several footmen, here to wake their leader, the Guardian.

The Guardian is still asleep in one of the sacks.

She wakes and emerges.

were the bombs dropped to kill her? - and/or all foam projections?

Agent-13_Smoog sugests an escape route.

...but the Guardian tells them not to run.

yup! she does!

The Guardian explains to our heroes that Foam has their brother, but that she can help.
