The GP Centre is the first GP practice in the area to offer an extensive range of in-house day case surgical procedures.

Our theatre and staff can offer around 16 different minor operations offering : quick treatment, , post operative advice, continuity of care and pleasant environment for patients. 

This service is available to patients of all Sutton PCG practices , as well as privately.

THE SURGICAL TEAM

Dr.Dan Muktar, MBChB., FRCS, GP Surgeon

Dr. Muktar is a qualified general surgeon with 18 years experience in General Surgery and Urology . He is a vocationally trained GP Surgeon with considerable medical experience and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeon of England.

Dr Jimmy Leghari, MB, BS, DA- GP Anesthetist

Dr Leghari is one of the senior GP partners who is also a qualified anesthetist. He has a diploma in anesthesia and he is very knowledgeable in resuscitation.
 

Our two doctors are supported by a highly trained nursing team who all have relevant hospital experience.

THE THEATRE SUITE

The operating theatre has been designed and equipped to a very high standard, and meets all the regional NHS guidelines.

It has one recovery room, access for disable patients and good waiting area facilities.

THE PROCEDURES

We can offer several GMS & non GMS procedures, all performed under local or regional anesthesia:

Vasectomy (no-scalpel technique), Circumcision-(Infantile and adult), Excision of Ganglion, Excision of Lipoma, Excision of Skin Lesion, Ligation and Injection of Varicose Veins, Excision of nail, Excision of nail bed (Zadik Operation), Excision biopsy of lymph node, Temporal artery biopsy, Hemorrhoid injection with sclerosant,   Sigmoidoscopy, Hemorrhoid banding, Aspiration & injection of joints and tendon.
