Introduction

John Dallaway is a Information Technology professional operating in the areas of embedded development tools, usability and project management. He is a chartered member of the British Computer Society (MBCS CITP) and a maintainer of the eCos open source real-time operating system. John has a background in Software Engineering established within the University of Cambridge. He has authored and co-authored a total of 22 academic papers and articles in the field of Rehabilitation Robotics. At Red Hat, he managed multiple concurrent engineering projects, delivering embedded run-time solutions and consultation to external customers. More recently, he co-founded eCosCentric Limited, an open source software development and services company, where he served as Operations Director. John is currently operating as a freelance consultant.
