Tigers 3's Fareham 6 - 2 Guys N Dolls
A strange night, several teams missing due to road accidents on the motorway, computers not working to start with at the alley and still no league screens when they did start working, also the league started half an hour late and the handicaps that were used were a week out of date, the road accident affected us though as Dean Barrow was stuck in it and couldn't get to the bowl so Alan Calder was drafted in at very late notice.

651 Series and 248 game from Dale Longyear tonight

Game one saw Guys N Dolls come out the blocks like a steam train and the Tigers looked in danger of being swept away but eventually they rode the storm and started to inch their way back, even getting to the stage where they could of actually won the game, Colin Marshall needed a double in the tenth frame to take the game after one strike it was looking good but his attempt to get the double saw his ball take off and hit the head pin heavy, no strike, no win, Guys N Dolls taking the game by just five pins.

Game two was a lot better for the Tigers, with both teams vying for the points on offer and going into the latter stages of the game neck and neck, then Dale Longyear took over and ended the game with six strikes in a row for a 248 game which along with Colin's 196 game and Alan's 175 game helped the Tigers to a convincing seventy three pin win.

Game three was a bit of a cat and mouse game, Dale hit three lots of three in a row strikes, normally at the same time that Guys Martin Budd went on his strike runs, Alan backed Dale up with his own three in a row at a crucial time in the game and Colin weighed in with a double towards the end although he did struggle in this game, but the Tigers did enough to win by just twenty four pins and with it got revenge for the defeat Guys N Dolls inflicted on them earlier in the season.
