The award winning John Lawson's Circus, voted Best Small Circus in Great Britain 2007, is currently enjoying its 30th Anniversary tour with a brand new production.

Amongst the attractions introduced by ringmaster Attila Endresz will be western thrills and spills with The Nevadas, from Hungary grace and beauty on the tightrope with Miss Bori, stunt riding with our BMX champion Laci, rola balancing from The Duo Antonio, the incredible juggling skills of Henrick, Miss Claire-Marie with her sword and dagger balancing presentation, acrobatics and contortions with a Rag Doll that comes to life!  Stratosphere high in the roof of the Big Top with their stunning Aerial Rocket, and fun and laughter with The Pinder Clowns - from one of Britain's oldest Circus families who will have you in stitches at their comedy taxi and slapstick decorating routines.  Plus plate-spinning, corde lisse, audience participation, magic and lots more.  It's the Circus you CAN'T afford to miss!

Dear John Lawson's Circus,
 
Here a bit from a longer letter to Radio Bristol show "Access All Areas" (10pm - 1am) weekdays about how much I liked your Circus........
 
.................."Anyway I'm a glutton for punishment........so as this is supposed to be Access All Areas......well, I for one access as many areas as I can in the world of music, arts and crafts. So here we go......last night took my great niece (Nicol, 7) and my Godson (Adam, 8) to see John Lawson's Circus down on Hanham Common. Haven't been to the circus for years and I loved every minute of it. There were no animals of course, but there was a BMX biker, high wire acts, jugglers, knife throwers, trapeze artists, clowns...............of course, yours truly just had to get drenched when a certain madcap sprayed a whole bucket of water into the audience.
 
The highlight for me though, was this amazing 15 year old juggler from Hungary. Here he is below, Henrick is his name. He was absolutely brilliant. He started off with four balls, then five, then six.........and eventually he had seven balls going at the same time. The lighting was such that each ball would leave, like a trail, behind it as the viewer's eye could not take it all it. He then stood on a table and started juggling all seven balls off the floor - you had to see it to believe it. The picture probably doesn't do it justice. He was the best juggler I have ever, ever seen. So there.
 
The circus has moved on to Whitchurch now for the weekend and next week it will be at Patchway. It's one of the best £7's worth I've spent this year. Oh, and I think the kids enjoyed themselves as well!!!!"
