Rabbi Michael Foulds OBE
Rabbi Foulds, who lives in Buckhurst Hill, has been a member of New Essex Masorti Synagogue for over 15 years, previously serving as Synagogue Treasurer and Senior Warden. With a successful and distinguished career as an accountant behind him, he began training for the rabbinate at the age of 58, formally becoming the community’s spiritual leader in 2007. Around 200 people attended Rabbi Foulds’ induction at New Essex Masorti Synagogue, which was conducted by Rabbi Chaim Weiner, head of the European Masorti Beth Din.
