Instruments

A unique mixture of instruments provides a range of five octaves, allowing the group access to music normally unavailable to the solo guitar or other ensembles. Each instrument has it's own characteristic tone and individual voice, analogous to the roles played by violin, viola and cello in a string quartet. We use a handmade bass by David Gregory, standard classical tenor guitars and also requintos which are tuned a fourth higher than the standard guitar. (Sorry about the fingerprints!)
