Live at Home Day Centre - Wednesdays from 10.00am to 3.00pm
Live at Home is a volunteer-based scheme, offering support and friendship to older people in the community who may be isolated and unable to get out and about as they used to.
There are a range of activities including:
- Befriending and regular visiting
- Monthly supported shopping - where you shop and we carry - followed by lunch
- Local outings with transport provided - teas, gardens, entertainment
- Quarterly newsletter with activities, lunch and a chat (transport subject to availability)
- Monthly coffee mornings
- Annual holidays
- Weekly day centre (Redhill & Horley)
Mental Health Support
Thursday Afternoon Club - weekly 2.00pm to 4.00pm - offers a safe meeting place for people who suffer depression and are looking for friendship and encouragement. Activities include table tennis, occasional arts & crafts and outings.
