Organising a wedding is a long process and takes a lot of effort. It certainly helps to have a team of good people working for you. There are a lot of decisions to be made and you know that however much you do, the success of the occasion ultimately rests with them. We can honestly say that everyone we chose did a great job and made the wedding day go like we imagined. We thank and recommend the following organisations and people.

Bride, bridesmaids and flower-girl's dresses:
Bridal Cottage, Fleetwood.
Very friendly and very helpful. All the dresses were beautiful, as we're sure most guests will agree. As for the bride's dress, well, it broke the bank but it was stunning and looked fantastic.

Groom, best man, pageboys, fathers and ushers suits:
J.S. Walkers, Fleetwood
Walkers are a long-established and traditional tailors, so they really knew what they were doing. They had a few short people to deal with but they managed it. Pity the guys couldn't remember what they had been told about how to do the cravats properly!

Photographer:
R.S. Studio, Fleetwood
Robert was really informal which helped us to be less nervous and make better pictures as a result. He had a whole range of ideas on poses and locations, giving good variety to the pictures.

Flowers, bouquets, buttonholes:
Four Seasons Florists, Fleetwood
All the girls had beautiful flowers and the shop provided some very impressive bouquets for the mothers. It took a lot of persuading to make Dave wear a big flower on his suit though!

Cars and limousines:
Limo Limo, Thornton-Cleveleys
The cars were great and earned quite a few glances from the people out on the streets on the wedding day. As they all used to belong to celebrities such as Michael Jackson and Princess Anne, it felt really special travelling in them.

Coaches for guests:
Elite Coaches, Fleetwood
Elite provided two minibuses to take all the guests to the wedding. We're just glad that they didn't get lost and managed to squeeze down the country lanes.

Bride, bridesmaids etc. hairstyles:
TK35, Fleetwood
The stylists here did a great job of dealing with a whole horde of women at 7.30 in the morning. The results were very impressive and they all looked their best.

Wedding cake:
Joan Riley, Fleetwood
Joan made an absolutely beautiful cake. It consisted of four tiers, decorated with flowers and gold leaves with white swans on top. It was actually four different cakes of fruit, chocolate, lemon and an orange/chocolate mix. Yummy.

Evening reception buffet:
Joan Briggs, Fleetwood
The food spread featured a good choice for everyone. It was all very well laid out and sneakily featured some of Dave's favourite foods.

Evening reception DJ:
Krazy Karl, Fleetwood
This guy does great parties and really gets everyone going. After entertaining the kids (and some adults) with balloon animals, he does a a cracking disco and karaoke.

Balloons, decorations:
The Amazing Balloon Company, Blackpool
We had a column of balloons on each side of the stage, some on the tables, and loads on the dance floor for the kids to kick about.

Stationery (invitations, place cars etc.):
Ashton Printers, Fleetwood
We got some really nice stationery with gold and red hearts. Lindsey then spent hours writing them out with a gold calligraphy pen!
