Windy at the Hive.....

Both teams performed well in very poor conditions. The wind almost reached gale force at times but the teams battled on and at times played some decent football. The games was ref’d well from Chris Evans which ultimately showed the Bees as a little too strong and experienced for the opposition.

Matrix played without their strike force for the third week running and again were forced to shuffle the pack but the lads did well. This week Captain Farmery partnered Macca who’s proving to be dangerous in the middle as well as up front. Cotgrave defended well with plenty of body’s behind the ball but were unable to stop Farmery getting his 13th of the season. (1-0 after 20 minutes)

By the second period the Bees were totally in charge. Early in the second half Macca ripped open the defence and crossed the ball for new boy sniffer Doyle to finish easily. (2-0 after 50 minutes)

McMorron capped off another fine performance with a great solo goal, rounding the keeper to slot home his tenth of the season (3-0 after 63 minutes).

Well done to everyone, including a very strong bench who all did well when coming on - Same again next week please.
