"B" Type Bus.

The 1911 "B" Type Bus was first issued in 1956. It was red with black or unpainted wheels, a black or blue driver and tan seats on the upper deck. It carried decals for "Dewars Whisky", "Pear's soap" and "Oakey's Knife Polish". When this model was first made the window frame at the top of the lower deck windows was prone to breaking during Fettling. ( A process where the metal parts were tumbled together to remove excess metal ). To stop the frame breaking, the upper windows had an extra strut added so now there were 8 small windows over 4 large windows. The early 4 over 4 window variation is quite rare. The model was deleted in 1963.
