The Trinity Centre is used by a wide variety of groups and agencies for meetings and conferences, including various NHS groups, Social Services, Training Agencies, Voluntary and Community groups. The Centre is also available to hire for evenings and weekends. We are a popular venue for special events and family celebrations. The centre is licensed for entertainment but not the sale of alcohol. Customers are impressed by the quality and design of the building, which provides a comfortable and pleasant space for any event. The Cloister Garden adds a unique dimension to the Trinity Centre and is greatly admired.

The Main Hall

The Main Hall is ideal for large events from conferences to performances and social events with seating for 200 theatre style or 120 around tables. Facilities include adaptable staging, lighting and sound system, Powerpoint and screen.

Niven Room

The Niven Room is designed as an excellent conference or training space with built in white boards and data projection, VHS and DVD and sound equipment. With seating for up to 25 people or 20 boardroom style, it can be extended by opening up into the adjoining Dow Room.

Dow Room

The Dow Room is ideal for meetings and small group work, with seating for 10 people and built-in whiteboard. It can be opened into the Niven Room to provide a larger space or to serve refreshments.

Ebor Room

The Ebor Room is and ideal breakout or or small group room suitable for up to 10 people.

Kitchen

A modern kitchen with hatches opening to the main hall and street equipped to serve 120. Facilities include: large hot water boiler, large fridge and freezer, six ring cooker, hot cupboard and commercial dishwasher. The kitchen is available to hire for self catering

The Street

The Street which links the centre to the Cloister Garden makes an excellent space for refreshment breaks, opening out into the Cloister Garden during warmer weather.

The Cloister Garden

The Cloister Garden provides a beautiful, peaceful space for relaxation, with a water feature, sensory planting and labyrinth. The Quiet room is available for counseling and therapeutic use.  

Catering

The Trinity Centre has been awarded a 5 Star Excellence Award for Food Hygiene.  We are pleased to provide catering to suit your particular needs.  The Trinity Centre is a Fair-trade venue, using only Fair-trade tea and coffee and other Fair-trade products whenever possible.

The fully equipped kitchen is available to hire for catering purposes and is equipped to serve 120.

Equipment

The following equipment is available to hire: Powerpoint, TV, flipcharts, OHP, sound and lights system.

The Quiet Room 

Overlooking the Cloister Garden, this beautiful space is glass-fronted providing full views of the garden. With an exquisite stained glass window, and bespoke furnishings it is a special place for individuals seeking peace and reflection. It is also ideal for therapeutic and reflective group work.
