This is the Studio Centre for SMOTHFM the regional FM station for the East Midlands. It is located on the Riverside Business Park on the outskirts of Nottingham. The station opened on February 11th at 7.00 am. Transmissions for Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and parts of Lincolnshire are from the Waltham transmitter on 106.6 FM while Derbyshire is covered from the Drum Hill Transmitter on 101.4 FM. SMOOTH FM is also available in the West Midlands on 105.7 FM from the Sutton Coldfield transmitter and also on DAB from the West Midlands Multiplex. Smooth FM began life as SAGA FM.
