Radio Derby's studios are located fairly close to the City Centre adjacent to the A6. The station broadcasts to the city of Derby from the transmitter at Drum Hill on the outskirts of the city and to the north of Derbyshire from Stanton Moor.
 

Radio Derby's has been broadcasting since 1971celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.

As with most broadcasting centres, Radio Derby's roof supports a number of aerials and communication antennae.
