The Salisbury transmitter stands in a dominating position above the Cathedral City and covers much of the surrounding area. It currently transmits both analogue and digital signals. The transmitter is a relay of Rowridge for FM, BBC1, BBC2, ITV and Ch4, and a relay of Mendip for Ch5.
