| This
VHF FM transmitter carries the programmes of Rutland Radio to an area
covering Rutland and the County town of Oakham. It is located at the
village of Manton, which is a couple of miles from Oakham. The aerials
are half way down the mast and provide directivity. The station has
another transmitter at Stamford. I hope to have a photograph of that
