"But why 'cyberfrem'?"
Early in my career I wrote a simple Unix script, named 'frem', to report on a system's FREe Memory. This seemed a good handle and so, with a slight modification, I adopted the alias 'cyberfrem'.
I am currently employed by a local government authority in the position of Server Support Analyst; part of a central
team responsible for the administration, maintenance, and development of numerous applications and services running on
100+ Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Unix servers. Just recently much of my time has been spent installing and configuring
the authority's firewalls, and developing intranet services.
I have previous experience as a Programmer Analyst in a university and as a Software Engineer in a CAD/CAM software
house having graduated, with honours, in Computer Science in 1990.
