Hong Kong
(which means ‘fragrant harbour’ in Chinese), is one of the most densely
populated countries/dependencies in the world, with an overall density
of more than 6,200 people per km².
Below are a
selection of photographs taken during my various trips to Hong Kong.
For my first
visit in 2002, I stayed with friends in the new development of Island Resort,
at Sui Sai Wan. This development consisted of 8 tower blocks built over
a large shopping mall and bus station.
Currently
ranked in the top 50 of the world's tallest residential buildings, the
flat I stayed in was
on the 60th
floor and the lift took just 45 seconds!
