Spectra No 3146 (M146 KRU) instantly became an 'open-topper' last week. It was travelling empty, on a bus route in Poole, when it swerved to avoid an oncoming vehicle and whilst still on the road, hit an overhanging branch. The local authority has since removed this and another tree in the vicinity.

3234, a Volvo B10M acquired from Oxford Bus Co and carrying a new dedicated livery for the X33, Bournemouth-Ringwood-Southampton service.

This service has now been axed - September 2005

Early November 2004 saw several Salisbury Park & Ride liveried Excels operating in and around Poole. It is believed that the new Volvo/Wights have replaced these vehicles on the Salisbury services.
 
 
To celebrate the centenenary of Poole's trams, Bristol VR 4422 received this blue livery in 2001. It is pictured at Swanage on 16 October 2004.
