I have a copy of her birth and marriage certificates.
Born in 27 Cemais Street, Saint Martin, Liverpool.
The 1881 census shows Sarah at 168 Towson Street, Everton, Liverpool. Age 9 she is not with her parents but shown as "neice" of the headof household. He is John Towns, age 40, an Engine driver born in Scotland. His wife is Elizabeth age 42 born in Liverpool. In addition there is a domestic servant.
