Notes from Les....
I have looked at the local directories held in Maidstone and visited Upper Fant Road which is a rather narrow and "ordinary" street of mostly terraced houses. The directories (I have compiled a summary of allParks and their residences in Maidstone from 1904 to 1958 in a separate document) show Mrs W. Parks living at 98 Upper Fant Road in 1915 through to 1954 and in 1956 Miss E.W. Parks at that address.
The 1930 Electoral Register shows Winifred Parks, Stephen Charles Parks, Edith Winifred Parks and Albert John Parks all at that address.
Mrs W. Woollett is shown in the Maidstone Kelly directory at number 98 in 1954 but in 1956 it changes to Miss E.W. Parks, her daughter.
The death of Winifred Parks age 84 is recorded in Maidstone 1954 Q3 Jul Aug Sep ref: 5b 467
The 1881 census shows her living with her brothers John and Thomas inAylesford. She is 11 years old and a scholar born in Frindsbury.
In the 1871 census she is 1 year old, born Frindsbury and living there with her family.
Baptised "daughter of John and Eliza" 6 Feb 1870 in Frindsbury.
Birth registered North Aylesford, Kent, 2a 450, March Q 1870
