The music of Symphony Of Pain is an exquisite blend of raw untamed hard rock juxtaposed with the dynamics of classical instrumentation.  The outright aggression of rock ‘n roll guitar, bass and drums coupled with strings, harpsichord, voices, piano and violin.

Their songs, whilst being diverse, maintain a sound that Symphony of Pain alone have captured.  Soaring, melancholic and brooding ballads that wrap themselves around kick-ass  rockers that go straight for the jugular.

"This is a neat blend of hard and melodic rock with classical instrumentation and comparisons varying from Saga (Tracie Law does sound like Michael Sadler) and Rush to Motorhead. Its roots could be planted in the goth area of rock but there is a melodic edge that makes it extremely approachable. Pamelas violin is where the classical influence comes from and it works extremely well especially on the final track of the four. Plenty of drama, plenty of dark eerie corners too!"
