Languages of the Northern Lands

All of the civilised races speak the common tongue, which is simply called common. In addition there are other many other native languages and even among those there are different dialects spoken.

The elven people are spread wide across Varna and while they share the same root language, Sylvanii, distance and time can make significant enough changes to sometimes make communication a challenge. For further information on the elven language in Varna see Races of the Wild.
