Hi, I’m Andy Cook and this site is all about my current and previous cars and bikes.

I currently run around in my 1971 Triumph GT6 which I've owned for 21 years, (my "big boys toy") and my everyday sensible car, a Jaguar X Type 2 Litre Diesel S Estate.

Prior to the Jag my everyday car was a 2004 Mini Cooper which I really miss. I have however bought two  Mini Cooper's in succession for my wife so still get to enjoy the fun of MINI driving, currently in a 2008 Cooper D!

I'm also an active member of owners clubs for both Triumph‘s and MINI‘s, the Triumph Sports Six Club (TSSC), Club Triumph, South Coast New MINI Club (SCNM) and Mini2.com.

Throughout the year I try and attend a few of the events both local and national organised by these clubs. In particular I'm an active member of the TSSC as I’ve been a member of this club for over 20 years and am currently a club official being the area organiser for Hants and Berks. I also served as the area organiser for the Essex area for 10 years in the 80’s and 90’s.

One big event in 2010 that I am taking part in is the Club Triumph Round Britain Reliability Run. This is a charity event and involves driving 2000 miles around Britain in 48 hours staring in London, driving up to John O'Groats then down to lands End before returning to London .  This year the charity benefiting from the event is the Mind. Andy would really appreciate it if you would sponsor him for this event nearer the time I'll be creating a small website but in the meantime if you would like to sponsor please drop an email to andy@cookiehome.co.uk

If you happen to be a fan or owner of Triumphs, Jaguars or BMW Minis you may find the web links section of this site useful, it has links to a selection of my favourite owners club and supplier websites.

There is also a section featuring some of my
friends Triumphs through the years, as you will see some of these are rather “modified” so this is not for the purist!

I also have a page with Sat Nav information, this includes some useful links and some POI files that I have created for my Sat Nav.

Hope you enjoy the site.....

Andy
