Living in the UK.We have, for a while, settled in the south east of England. Ashford in Kent isn't a remarkable town but it is surrounded by the beautiful Kent countryside known as the Garden of England. It is also not much more than an hour from London, is near to France and has excellent connections via the Eurostar/Channel Tunnel to Paris and Brussels. Who knows how long we will stay and where we will be next, but for now this is our humble home. Under the red spot on the map to the left |

There are old things like castles, nice scenery and some strange people. There are more castles, simpler dwellings and grand cathedrals. Despite all of this, it can sometimes get boring. Really, it can. But life can be fun. |
