Donna outside the Moulin Rouge Although Conrad has had several trips to different parts of France over the years, Donna's first visit was for 3 days in Paris in the summer of 2003 when we went there while visiting UK from Bangladesh.

We walked all over the and used the Metro well. Visited the usual sites; Notre Dame, Champs Elysees, the Louvre, Eifel Tower and nice restaurants (in addition to McDonalds). We boated on the Seine and looked at it and the surroundings from various bridges.
We headed further north to Monte Martre seeing the nearby Moulin Rouge and getting our portraits drawn in the Place de Tartre.
We also managed to see the end of the country's favourite event, Le Tour de France.
We also crossed to Calais for a daytrip, seeing Boulogne and St. Omer and and more recently spent a day in Lille.
