		A Holiday and Wedding on Bali We went to Bali for 8 days in April 2004 to get married. I suppose it was a wedding and mini honeymoon. It was a beautiful place and relatively cheap and quiet since the bomb. As well as the wedding and some trips around, Conrad learnt to scuba dive.

	Sadly October 2005 brought more bombings to Bali. Tourism had just about recovered from the attacks 3 years ago and local people livelihoods began to look better. A violent group wanting an Islamic superstate across much of southeast Asia is thought to be responsible. Why attack an island that is mostly Hindu? A soft target? An economic target? A target that will be publicised? Or religous hatred?	Ubud
