It's
been seven years since their debut and it really is time
The Adventures (now a four-piece) cracked it. Their incredibly
catchy bubblegum pop is all melodies, chiming guitars
and keening vocals. Some songs, like Raining All Over
The World or I Really Don't Mind seem to be
all chorus.
It would be a curmudgeon indeed who couldn't find something
to enjoy; the relatively austere, synth-driven Come
The Day, perhaps, or the ballad, I Don't Want To
Play This Game, which has such a sweetly worded chorus
you could listen to it for hours.
