In England, Scotland & Wales
The legal age to have sex is 16, whether you are straight, gay, or bi-sexual.
The law is not there to prosecute it is there to protect you; however it is a crime to force or coerce anyone to have sex.
If you’re under 13 the law says you’re unable to consent to sex, so anyone having sex with an under 13 could be prosecuted for rape and go on the sex offenders’ register.
