Cycling: St Mary's has limited accommodation for bicycles.
Public Transport
We suggest you plan your journey to St Mary's using
TfL's Journey Planner
(within London). (link uses postcode IG1 1TX, which is nearby. St Mary's Ilford is
the first listed "place of interest" called "St Mary's CofE Church"). The church is not shown on the
maps on the journey planner.
Rail: Nearest station is Seven Kings, east of the church (National Express East Anglia from Liverpool St, zone 4), but Ilford,
west of the church on the same line has a better service.
Bus 86 stops outside on the High Road, and Routes 128, 145 and 150 stop nearby
at "The Prince of Wales".

A sound distribution system is installed, with an induction loop for hearing aid users.
St Mary's welcomes everybody, but regrets that access to many parts of its building requires the use of steps. We have a
portable wheelchair-ramp for accessing the nave, but this cannot be left in place permanently: If you are planning on visiting
us it would be appreciated if you could contact us beforehand.
Great Ilford?
The (ecclesiastical) Parish of Great Ilford is in what is now called just Ilford, in the London Borough of
Redbridge, the prefix "Great" being used only by the CofE. Little Ilford is west across the River Roding - a glance at a street
atlas reveals Little Ilford Lane and Little Ilford Park and the name is also used for an electoral ward of The London Borough of
Newham. Many people would not distinguish Little Ilford from adjacent Manor Park.
