Repair/Collection Services

EAST HAM/BECKTON: Rob's Cycles 50 Langton Avenue, London, E6 6AL, Tel: (020) 8471 6534.

A search on reveals – in East Ham - Rob's Cycles, 50, Langton Avenue, London, E6 6AL, Tel: (020) 8471 6534. This is not marked or listed on the London Cycle Guides, but is located in square Qc41 on map 6. Whilst it is not in B&D, in the absence of a ‘proper’ bike shop physically in Barking, I am including it. It is not a shop, but a business run from home.

CYBERSPACE: Mike Vickers – 07963 804492. Mike formerly had a shop in Barking – in recent years in Ripple Road. He now offers a come to you service - either he’ll do on-the-spot repairs or he’ll take the bike back-to-base and return it to you.

This shop (as at 25 May 04) sells bike parts but not bikes and does not offer repairs. I hear it will withdraw all the cycling part of its work.
