Below is a list of places that ride groups tend to meet and/or eat/drink (based on events from 2000 onwards). Most are linked to a web street map. Italics indicate pubs.

You can take your bike on most trains in this area for free and without a ticket for the bike, though usually not during peak periods. Click for further information.

ALDERSBROOK, 29 Clavering Rd ----- ALDERSBROOK, St Gabriel's Church ----- BARKING, Abbey Green †----- BARKING (Upney), Eastbury Manor House -----BARKING, Gurdwara (Sikh Temple) ----- BARKING, Railway Station ----- BARKING, Town Hall ----- BARKING, Town Quay ----- BEACONTREE HEATH, Civic Centre ----- CHIGWELL, Three Jolly Wheelers * ----- EAST HAM, Station ----- FOREST GATE, Old Spotted Dog ----- HAROLD WOOD, Railway Station ----ILFORD, Melbourne Field, Valentines Park ----- ILFORD, Town Hall ----- LEYTON, Baker’s Arms ---- LEYTONSTONE, Walnut Tree ----- PLAISTOW, Greengate ----- PLAISTOW, Greenway/Barking Road, ----- RAINHAM, Railway Station ----- ROMFORD, Railway Station ----- STRATFORD, Eastway Cycle Circuit ----- STRATFORD, West Ham Town Hall ---- UPNEY (Barking), Eastbury Manor House ----- UPMINSTER, Railway Station ----- WALTHAMSTOW, Waltham Forest Central Library ----- WANSTEAD House ----- WANSTEAD, Somerfield Supermarket (Nice Croissant nearby towards The George)----- WOODFORD BRIDGE, Three Jolly Wheelers * ----- WOODFORD GREEN, Sir James Hawkey Hall

* This pub is just over the border into Epping Forest District Council's area (the border sign is outside the pub) but postally is in IG8 (Woodford) rather than IG7 (Chigwell). You decide!

† Until 2000 B&D council was calling this Abbey Fields: A bit silly as it is not and never was a field, but better than CAOS (centre area open space). I prefer Abbey Green. In both cases the name appears/-ed capitalised and with no "The", suggesting that it is / was an official name.
