I have decided to join in the Olympic spirit and attempt to cycle 2012km to raise money for the Alzeheimer's Society. You can see how I am getting on by clicking on Tina's 2012 challenge.

At the houses of parliament on November 14th I was presented with a Bronze Green Apple award for training.
It was a lovely day out, a chance to wear clothes with no oil on them and a really memorable visit to the Houses of Parliament.
The awards were presented by the The Green Organisation, the Rt. Hon Liz Kendall, MP for Leicester East and one of the people who has recently appeared on Dragon's Den.
This is the citation that was read out to all present. "The project's aim is to get young children thinking that cycling is a fun thing to do. By teaching them to cycle as quickly as possible, usually within an hour, the cost to the parents/carers is minimised. This is important as a high cost can easily put people off getting their child early teaching."
Aimed at Children's Centres and Pre-school groups. See the Schools page for details. Interested? please get in touch with your local children's Centre direct for bookings.
