The main funding options open to private individuals are HP, PCP and Personal Contract Hire. When choosing, there is no 'best and worst' or 'right and wrong', it is very much down to individual preference and circumstance. Personal Contract Hire Personal Contract Hire is designed to provide private individuals with most of the advantages previously only available to businesses. PCP is generally only available on new cars and cars up to 1 year old, and is only available to individuals with a clean credit rating ie. no CCJs or credit defaults.
