Why have you not placed anything about Scotland, Wales, and Ireland archaeology? This will be very soon in coming but will take time, as I have to find out what people are interested in before going ahead with a new page

Are you going to put more information about Field Techniques? Yes its just takes time. Best to keep looking back at the website for changes made to individual pages.

 

Where can I report archaeological finds that I have located? Like all archaeological finds weather it's a pot fragment, and nail, or glass and metal should be reported to. Firstly let me say that it does not belong to you at all and secondly if of value it will soon decrees in value. If you find an item via metal doctoring you should leave the item in situ and report it straight away to the county archaeologists then the value may rise. Is they any plans for a forum on archaeology? No. The last forum had a few members coming through and now been taken down mainly due to lack of question and interest.
