Biography

Welcome to the SCUBAPIX website. We do hope you enjoy the images and appreciate as we do the wonderful subterranean world which we have yet to fully understand.
Colin has been taking underwater photographs for over 31 years now, and people often ask him which is his favourite image- as far as he is concerned its which is YOUR favourite, not his – he only supplies them.

Colin first took to breathing underwater in 1976, Some 10 years later with a hired Nikonos V and a 35mm lens, while in the Gulf of Aqaba he was well and truly bitten by the photography bug. So by now he feels quite at home with all manner of diving and camera equipment.

He is a professional diver, although does not get work opportunities to take such images. Also, he is a PADI Scuba Instructor teaching both in the U.K. and abroad.
Colin is available for talks with his slide show in the North of England, and can tailor his presentations to suit any group or organisation, (for Costs-see `Slide Talks`)
