Over the years many people have visited the movie locations in
Tunisia. Some of those people took the time to write up their journey
and publish it on the internet with their photographs. Perhaps their
story has or is influencing you to make a similar trip.
Sadly, over time some of these sites are deleted, lost forever with
their valuable images and experiences. For example, Lionel Noetzlin's
site, considered to be one of the best, disappeared around 2002. Yet
many sites still link to it! Alternately, new sites are created with
no references from established sites.
So, what can you do when you research the subject of film locations
in Tunisia? Well, here's a few tips...
Tunisia Online
Star Wars from a Tunisian point of view.
Mark Dermul's "Trip To Tatooine"©
Mark puts a lot of time and effort into organising trips for Star
Wars fans (for no reward other than to see everyone's smiling faces).
Contains a good list of links to other sites.
Jeremy Beckett's "Tataouine Tours"
Jeremy published a wonderful Star Wars location guide book, and is
working on a locations DVD. Last trip was in 2002.

Alex from the last Tataouine Tours trip in 2002 wrote a short
piece, but many, many great photographs.
In May 1997 the winner of the Decipher Star Wars CCG tournament
received his reward of a week tour around Tunisia escorted by
David West Reynolds.

Buckwild's new site. Anything and everything to do with the Star Wars filming locations. Archives of all those great sites that have vanished over the years.

A more uptodate tour of Tunisia (proving it can be done on a shoestring budget). I recommend downloading Hoylen's amazing 3D Google Earth model of Mos Espa then taking a tour through the cyber Mos Espa's streets.
