Description
Launched 25 years ago, this was the first fun fly type model in the UK. It is outrageously manoeuvreable, and capable of just about anything this pilot can throw at it, and on some occasions, some manoeurvres that the pilot knows nothing about! The anniversary edition is all built-up, making it look more attractice than the original, although even in this guise it cannot be described as elegant. Whatever you might think of the Panic Bipes shape, it more than makes up for in flying performance what it lacks in good looks.
Just how long the ARTF version lasts can only be guessed at. The stresses and strains of funflying are huge and the usually light use of glue on ARTF models these days should soon show up as broken joints. Only time will tell just how well the joints are stuck. At least the tranparent covering will not hide any nasties!
One manoeuvre it excells at is the flat spin, and the light structure also means that it sinks even slower than other foam-winged models whilst spinning.
